ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Sharnah Carter, a 20-year-old animal lover based in Highworth with a passion for providing safe, caring, and reliable pet care.

My love for dogs grew through my own experience with a rescue Staffy cross English Bull Terrier called Marley. We were his 3rd home at only 11 months old. He completely changed my perspective and sparked a lifelong appreciation for Staffordshire Bull Terriers and rescue dogs. After sadly losing him at the age of 13. I welcomed my red Staffy puppy, Cora, into my life. She’s full of personality, loves making new friends, and reminds me every day why I wanted to turn my passion into a career. Running this business also allows me to spend more time with Cora and my horse, Suzie, while doing what I love most.

I believe every dog deserves kindness, patience, and understanding. Whether your companion is confident, energetic, nervous, or considered “difficult,” I’m committed to tailoring my care to suit their individual needs. I never discriminate based on breed or size, and XL Bullies are especially welcome. For dogs who are anxious or prefer their own space, I’m happy to offer one-to-one walks so they can enjoy calm, focused attention without the stress of a group.

For social dogs, group walks are carefully managed and limited to no more than six dogs, with groups thoughtfully organised to match personalities, energy levels, and individual requirements.

Your pet’s safety is always my top priority. I am fully trained in pet first aid and CPR and carry a portable first aid kit on every walk so I’m prepared for unexpected situations. I’m also committed to continuing my education and gaining additional qualifications to provide the highest standard of care.

Alongside my dog experience, I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Equine Management, meaning I can also pop in to check on or care for your horse when life gets busy.

My goal is simple: to give every animal the same love, respect, and personalised care that I would want for my own. Whether you need regular walks, individual support for a nervous dog, or a helping hand with your horse, you can trust that they’ll be in safe and caring hands.
